The Series: The Hornets hold a 5-0 all-time series advantage over the Cougars dating back to the first meeting in 2004.
Averett at a Glance: The Cougars host Lynchburg to open the 2022 season. Averett posted a 6-6 record last season while going 4-2 in USA South play which ended in the East Division final with a loss to Meredith.
