BREVARD, N.C. — The Averett University men's lacrosse program fell short 9-6 against Brevard College on Saturday Afternoon at Ives-Lemel Family Field.
Averett (3-10, 0-7
USA South) struggled to get things rolling as Brevard (2-10, 1-6
USA South) ended the first half of play with a 6-1 advantage.
The Cougars out scored the Tornados 5-3 in the second half but the late come back fell just short.

Caleb Chester tallied 11 saves for the Cougars while fellow senior
Parker Corbett added two goals. Sophomore
Connor Taff also added two goals along with an assist.
The Cougars are back in action April 23 when they host Huntingdon College for Senior Day at 1 p.m.
