Men's lacrosse drops home USA South match against Piedmont

DANVILLE, Va. — The Averett University men's lacrosse program fell 26-5 against Piedmont University on Saturday afternoon on Daly Field at Frank R. Campbell Stadium.

Averett (3-7, 0-4 USA South) was led by sophomore Connor Taff who tallied two goals while also adding an assist.

Piedmont (4-7, 2-1 USA South) out shot the Cougars 65-13 for the game.

The Cougars are back in action Wednesday when they host William Peace University at 6 p.m.
