DANVILLE, Va. — Averett University Driector of Athletics Communications Drew Wilson announced the addition of Landon Hendrix as a graduate assistant for athletics communications on Thursday.

Hendrix comes to Averett after serving as a student intern for Longwood University athletics. During his time at Longwood, Hendrix wrote post-game recaps and statted for a variety of sports.

Coming from Virginia Beach, Virginia, Hendrix graduated from Longwood with a bachelor's degree in communication studies with a concentration in public relations in the spring of 2022. He is pursuing his master's in business administration with a concentration in leadership at Averett.
