GREENVILLE, S.C. — The Averett University women's soccer team fell to Bob Jones University 3-1 on the road Tuesday evening in non-conference play.
In the 35th minute, junior
Remy Vigouroux netted her first career goal for the Cougars and was assisted by sophomore
Celia de Diego to help Averett (2-1-1) trim its deficit to 2-1 against Bob Jones (5-1).
Five Cougars recorded a shot on goal in the match. Junior goalie
Alyson Kinkopf picked up seven saves between the pipes for Averett.
Averett returns to action on Sunday when it hosts Greensboro College for senior day. Kickoff is set for 1 p.m.
