LYNCHBURG, Va. - The Averett University women's basketball team fell on the road to Randolph College 81-52 on Wednesday.
Averett (3-11, 1-8 ODAC) would trail Randolph (13-2, 8-1 ODAC) by eight points after the first quarter, but the WildCats offense would take over scoring 59 combined points in the next three quarters.
Junior
Talia Prosper led the Cougars offensive efforts with 10 points while freshman
Elisa Harris had nine points to go along with two thee-pointers. Junior
Jihnez Hutchinson brought down five rebounds in the outing, while freshman
Rayanna Evans handed out three assists.
As a team, Averett brought down 33 rebounds.
Averett is back in action when it travels to the University of Mary Washington on Saturday at 1 p.m.
