Date & Time: Sunday, Dec. 9, beginning at 9 a.m. (Grant Center, Danville, Va.)

The Event: The Cougars will wrestle eight different teams in the Duals. Averett will have its A Team facing three schools: Patrick and Henry Community College, Saint Andrews University and Belmont Abbey College. Its B Team is slated to face off against: Bluefield State University, Apprentice School and Southern Virginia University.
Averett at a Glance : The Cougars produced three Champions in the Messiah University Petrofes Invitational last weekend. As a team, Averett placed fourth, just a half point from third. Junior Mason Barrett placed first at 125 pounds, winning Old Dominion Athletic Conference Wrestler of the Week. At 184 pounds, senior George Moseley was crowned champion. Senior Jamar Christian took the first-place-spot in the 197 pound weight class.
