The Events: This is the first time the Cougars have faced either team.
Averett at a Glance : The Cougars, have been ranked this season in the National Wrestling Coaches Association Division III tournament team rankings, enter their ninth dual competition with a 17-8 record. In their last dual competition, the Cougars defeated Greensboro College 42-10. Sophomore Mason Barrett is ranked No. 13 in the NWCA national rankings at 125 pounds. In the 157-pound weight class Sophomore Jesse Alvarado is ranked sixth in the nation. Averett currently has five regionally ranked wrestlers.
