The Events: The Cougars are 1-0 all-time against the Maroons. They won their last matchup 36-3 last season.
Averett at a Glance : The Cougars, have been ranked this season in the National Wrestling Coaches Association Division III tournament team rankings, enter their 10th dual competition with a 17-10 record. In their last dual competition, the Cougars lost to No. 14 Stevens Institute of technology and No. 10 The College of New Jersey. Sophomore Mason Barrett is ranked No. 7 in the NWCA national rankings at 125 pounds and in the 157-pound weight class, sophomore Jesse Alvarado is ranked sixth in the nation. Averett currently has six regionally ranked wrestlers.
