First half not enough in men's lacrosse's loss at Ferrum

FERRUM, Va. - Averett University men's lacrosse fell on the road to Ferrum College 17-9 on Saturday night in Old Dominion Athletic Conference play.

Averett (3-11, 1-8 ODAC) took an 8-4 lead into halftime over Ferrum (3-11, 1-8 ODAC). The Panthers used a 14 goal offensive surge to complete the comeback win.

Junior Connor Taff netted a hat trick for the Cougars, sophomore Jay Etheridge scored two goals while four other Cougars got in on the early scoring action. Freshman Cameron Prutzman made 14 saves in the cage.
