LEXINGTON, Va. - No.3 seeded Averett University women's tennis team fell 5-1 to No. 2 seeded Sweet Briar College in the Old Dominion Athletic Conference Tournament semifinals on Saturday.

Daniela Poulakidas rolled past Sweet Briar's (18-7)Â Lucia Bovard and Alex Guilarte 8-3 to score the Cougars lone point in the match.
This concludes Averett women's tennis' 2022-23 season. The Cougars finish14-4 overall and 8-2 in conference while finishing third in the ODAC standings in their first year as members of the conference.
