Women's soccer draws with Greensboro

GREENSBORO, N.C. - Averett University women's soccer played to a 1-1 draw on Sunday afternoon on the road.

Averett (1-3-2) and Greensboro (2-1-2) went into halftime scoreless.

Junior Celia de Diego g Averett (1-3-2) on the board first early in the second half in the 52nd minute. Greensboro scored the equalizer in the 68th minute of play to bring the final game score to a 1-1 draw.

Averett is back in action Tuesday, Sept. 19 at 7 p.m. on the road against William Peace University.
