The Events: The Cougars are 1-0 all-time against the Hornets, winning their last matchup 46-9 last season.
Averett at a Glance : Averett University wrestling dominated in the Penn College Invitational last Saturday. The Cougars compiled four champions and 14 individual placers. Averett also produced two Old Dominion Athletic Conference Wrestlers of the Week.
Shenandoah at a Glance : Shenandoah's last dual competition was at the Chocalate Duals on Dec. 16, where it went 1-3. The Hornets lost to Messiah University 35-9, Johnson and Wales University (N.C.) 40-8 and they defeated Penn College 25-4.
