The Events: The Cougars are 4-2 all-time against the Panthers, winning their last matchup 33-9 last season.
Averett at a Glance: Averett University wrestling placed third in the Virginia Duals last weekend. The Cougars knocked off Camden County College 48-6, King University (Tenn.) 22-18 before falling to Elizabethtown College in the semifinals, 26-10. In the final match, Averett took down Reinhardt University 21-1.
Ferrum at a Glance : Ferrum's last competition was at the Jim Crytzer Invitational on Jan. 6. The Panthers had one champion and 10 individual placers in total.
