SALEM, Va. - Averett University men's and women's indoor track & field finished up Day 1 of the Roanoke College Finn Pincus Invitational on Friday.
Senior
Saida Bangura finished seventh in her 60 meters preliminary heat before placing 21st in the 60 meter semifinals, running a 6.38.
Freshman
Gabrielle Griffin placed seventh in the 3000 meter finals, to round out the top finisher in the women's side.

Zaiyon Evans placed seventh in the men's 60 meter semifinals, running a 6.96. Senior
Nick Andrews placed 10th in the 60m prelims with a 7.27.
Averett's throwers compete tomorrow starting at 9:15 a.m.
