Zach Always notched a top-10 finish as the Averett University men's golf B Team finished play at Southern Virginia University's Knights Invitational on Tuesday. Always shot 8-over-par during the final round to finish with a 10-over 154 on the par-72, 6,690-yard Stoney Creek Golf Club.
Senior
Hunter Crute finished 18th in the individual-only tournament, shooting 14-over. Sophomore
Ryan Meadows improved his score by six strokes from Round 1 to Round 2 to finish at 26-over. Junior
Alejandro Lucas Nielfa finished at 29-over in the 46-player field.
Hampden-Sydney College's Joseph Weinstein won the tournament with a 1-under 143, four strokes ahead of hits teammate Garnett Hall.
