The Events: The Cougars are 2-0 all-time against the Maroons dating back to 2022. Last year, Averett defeated Roanoke 27-12.
Averett at a Glance: Averett defeated Greensboro College last Thursday 48-5. Last Saturday the Cougars had two runner-ups and seven medalists in Southeast Futures Tournament. The Cougars currently have seven regionally ranked wrestlers by the NWCA and three wrestlers that are nationally ranked.
Roanoke a Glance : Roanoke is No. 20 in dual rankings and have seven regionally ranked wrestlers on its roster. In its last dual, the Maroons defeated Stevens Institute of Technology 17-16 last season.
