Carolina trips up men's volleyball on road

WINSTON-SALEM, N.C.- Averett University men's volleyball fell on the road to Carolina University 3-0 on Thursday.

Carolina (7-10) took the match in a clean sweep with set scores of 25-9, 25-10 and 25-13 over Averett (0-10).

Freshman Finn Oakley and senior Daniel Cancro each had four kills, freshman Dominick Jenkins had two aces, freshman Noah Kaneshiro-Pate had five assists and Anibal Lopez had six assists in the match.

Averett is back in action this weekend when it hosts Wabash and Warren Wilson in a tri-match starting at 11 a.m.
