Averett at a Glance: Averett University men's wrestling dominated Buena Vista University 48-4 to open the Virginia Duals on Friday, but the Cougars fell short in a 30-15 loss to Division II Frostburg State University in the second round. Averett will face Elizabethtown University on Saturday for a chance to get to the fifth-place match later in the day. ... Averett has one nationally ranked wrestler (senior Mason Barrett at 125 pounds, who is ranked No. 3 by NWCA, d3wrestle and The Open Mat) and eight wrestlers regionally ranked by NWCA.
