Men's basketball falls in exhibition at Division I High Point

HIGH POINT, N.C. — Averett University men's basketball lost to Division I High Point University 127-52 in an exhibition game for the Cougars on Saturday.

High Point (2-0), which made the NCAA Tournament last season, shot better than 70 percent for the game in a game that counted for the Panthers.

Averett (0-1) was led by redshirt sophomore Timayahs Bracey's 11 points.

The Cougars travel to Southern Virginia University for a 6:30 p.m. game on Wednesday.
