MANHEIM, Pa. — Averett University men's wrestling has eight individuals ranked regionally by the National Wrestling Coaches Association (NWCA), as the organization announced its newest rankings on the final day of 2025. 

At 125 pounds, juniors Adrian Samano is ranked No. 1 in the region. At 133, junior A.J. Orlando III held his spot at No. 3 regionally. In the 141 pound weight class, senior Wyatt Parker is ranked No. 8. Junior Carter Shupert is ranked No. 7 at 157 pounds. Junior Xavier Swanson is now No. 7 at 165 pounds. At 174, senior Michael Gabbard remains in the No. 7 spot. Senior Khalil Mitchell is now No. 4 in the region at 184. while senior Jacob Jimenez is ranked No. 5 at 197.
