The Series: The Cougars are 6-0 all-time against Randolph dating back to the 2014-15 season. Averett won the matchup earlier this season by a score of 89-82 in Lynchburg on Jan. 10.
Averett at a Glance: Averett men's basketball team returns home Saturday for Old Dominion Athletic Conference game against Randolph College. The Cougars, who have lost four in a row, are looking to rebound from a 70-53 road loss Wednesday at Virginia Wesleyan University, which is receiving votes in the D3hoops.com poll. ... Saturday is Senior Day for the Cougars. Seniors Clay Hodges and Bryce Shaw will be honored prior to the game (graduate student Jason Sellars II was honored last season during his senior season).
Randolph at a Glance: Randolph is coming off three straight losses after losing to Roanoke College 94-65 on Feb. 8. The WildCats were scheduled to play Ferrum College earlier this week but that game was postponed until Feb. 16.
