Averett at a Glance: Averett University men's basketball team travels to conference foe Washington and Lee University on Tuesday in a game that could help decide the final spot in the upcoming Old Dominion Athletic Conference Tournament. Averett is looking to rebound from a heartbreaking 97-95 loss in double overtime on Saturday that gave the Cougars their fifth straight loss. ... Graduate student Jason Sellars II matched his career-high of 15 rebounds against Randolph on Saturday, moving him into third all-time on the Averett men's basketball rebounds list with 701 career rebounds, surpassing Paul Porter (2010-14), who had 697 career rebounds. Last season, Sellars became the 13th known Averett player to record 500 career rebounds. Hall of Famer Charles Bryant '17 holds the all-time rebounds record with 882 for his career, followed by Hall of Famer DeMarcus Morrison '09, who had 859 rebounds during his career from 1996-2000.
