DANVILLE, Va. — Averett University men's volleyball fell in straight sets to Roanoke on Tuesday night in the Grant Center.
Roanoke (8-7, 1-1 ODAC) caught an early lead in the first set, ultimately defeating Averett (2-9, 0-4 ODAC) with scores of 25-13, 25-17, and 25-18.

Finn Oakley led the Cougars' offense with seven kills, while junior
Diego Giffuni had eight assists. On defense, junior
Anibal Lopez recorded nine digs.
The Cougars are back in action when they host Virginia Wesleyan University for a conference match on Wednesday, Feb. 26 at 7 p.m.
