Averett at a Glance: A hot first quarter for Lynchburg was enough to keep Averett out of reach on Wednesday night, downing the Cougars 73-45. Emma Jones led the team with 10 points, and freshman Anna Dabek contributed a season-high seven points off the bench.
Shenandoah at a Glance: Shenandoah won in convincing fashion over Hollins last Saturday, 80-56. Leading ODAC scorer Terese Greene led the team with 24 points, including 4-6 from beyond the arc. The Hornets out-rebounded Hollins 54-36 overall, and held the visitors to low shooting splits on the night.
