Muskingum at a Glance: The Fighting Muskies, ranked No. 19 nationally in the NFCA poll, have opened the season 3-1 at the Triangle Classic on Friday and Saturday. Muskingum's lone loss came Friday, 5-4, to Piedmont. They bounced back with a 5-0 win over Maryville College and a 4-2 win over University of Lynchburg on Saturday. The Fighting Muskies face No. 23 Randolph-Macon College at 9:30 a.m. on Sunday before playing Averett.
Piedmont at a Glance: The Lions upset nationally ranked Muskingum on Friday, but lost 1-0 to Lynchburg and 9-7 to William Peace University on Saturday. Piedmont takes on Methodist University at noon prior to playing Averett.
