The Series: The Cougars seek their first win over the Hornets in the all-time series. In four games played, Shenandoah has taken all four, including a 19-1 win over Averett last spring in Danville.  
Averett at a Glance: Competitive for a sizable portion of its ODAC contest versus Bridgewater last Saturday, the Eagles used a nine-goal second stanza to pull away for a 17-2 win versus Averett. Emmett Wood and Brayton Powers both netted a goal each, while Connor Boyd tallied five ground balls. 
Shenandoah at a Glance: Shenandoah fell 23-4 on the road to Roanoke on Wednesday afternoon. Dillon Bakhsh led the way for the Hornets with two goals, while four players tied for a team-high three ground balls. Mark Isabelle rounded up 23 saves in the defeat.
