GREENSBORO, N.C. — Averett University baseball senior Kevin Zischke was selected to the 2025 D3baseball.com All-Region 6 Third Team, the organization announced Tuesday.

Zischke, a right fielder from Bumpass, Virginia, started all 36 games for the Cougars. He earned All-Old Dominion Athletic Conference First Team and American Baseball Coaches Association/Rawlings All-Region Third Team accolades this season after he batted .367 with 55 hits, including eight doubles, two triples and nine home runs across 150 at-bats. He also scored 44 runs, drove in 25 RBIs, registered a .627 slugging percentage and a .452 on-base percentage, stole 13 bases in 16 attempts, tallied 17 multi-hit games and reached base in 33 of 36 contests. His nine home runs tied the program's single-season record and his three homers in a single game also tied the program mark for a single contest. In addition to all-conference honors, he was named the ODAC Player of the Week and selected to the D3baseball.com Team of the Week.
