Averett at a Glance: Averett opens the season at the two-day, 54-hole Gate City Invitational. The Cougars will play the first 36 holes of the tournament on Monday with an 8 a.m. shotgun start. The Cougars' lineup for the first tournament includes senior Miguel Rodriguez Lamana, sophomores Benjamin Afzelius and Zach Alway and freshmen Lukas Newton and Chase Myers.
