DANVILLE, Va. -- Averett University Athletics has announced that due to the threat of substantial snowfall this weekend, a number of modifications have been made to the schedule.
Four events were originally supposed to occur on Saturday, Jan. 24. As announced earlier this week, men's and women's basketball have moved their doubleheader to Friday evening at 5 and 7:30 p.m., respectively.
Men's wrestling at Washington and Lee has been postponed, with a revised matchup to be determined at a later date. Track and field's opening indoor meet at Liberty University, originally a two-day event, has been consolidated to a one-day meet on Friday, Jan. 23.
