FOREST, Va. – Averett University men's lacrosse was picked to finish in the 10th position in the 2026 ODAC men's lacrosse preseason poll, announced on Wednesday.
The University of Lynchburg, last season's conference runners-up, took the top spot with seven first place votes, followed by 2025's preseason favorite and ODAC champion in Washington and Lee University, with the other four first place votes. Rounding out a very close top five are Randolph-Macon College in third, Roanoke College in fourth, and Hampden-Sydney College in fifth.

Bryan Habick include the ODAC saves per game leader in sophomore
Robbie Isenhour, leading goal scorer and senior
Emmett Wood, and midfielder
Zachary Hulbert, who notched 15 goals as a freshman.
The Cougars' 2026 slate begins at Daly Field at Frank R. Campbell Stadium on Saturday, Feb. 7, versus the Savannah College of Art and Design.
