Salem, Va. — Averett University men's wrestling faced No. 1 Roanoke College for a conference dual on the road Saturday, where the Cougars fell 45-0 to the Maroons. 

After a sudden victory win at 125 pounds, Roanoke (15-0, 1-0 ODAC) went on to defeat Averett (12-9, 4-1 ODAC) in all nine weight classes to remain undefeated in both conference and non-conference play.

The Cougars are back on the road on Feb. 14 to compete at the Old Dominion Athletic Conference Championships hosted by Shenandoah University.
