DANVILLE, Va — Averett University men's volleyball dropped a conference match against Randolph College on Wednesday, falling in straight sets.
The Cougars (5-8, 0-11 ODAC) fell to the WildCats (15-10, 7-6 ODAC) with scores of 25-13, 25-10 and 25-23.
Sophomore Liam Audrain led the Cougars with eight kills, while senior Nicholas Breen had six. Freshman setter Luke Brown recorded 21 assists.
On the defense, freshman Aiden Williams had two solo blocks. Freshman libero Chuck Freedman had six digs while Audrain and Breen trailed with five a piece.
The Cougars hit the road on Saturday for a conference tri-match against Shenandoah University and Randolph-Macon College beginning at 3 p.m.
