Support Averett Athletics

Averett University is committed to success.  A tradition of excellence has been established at Averett University.  The Cougar Club is committed to providing AU student-athletes with the opportunity to succeed academically, as well as in their respective sport.  At Averett, we recruit good students that happen to be talented athletes.  Private support of academic and athletic programs is crucial to our student-athletes in the increasingly competitive landscape of intercollegiate athletics.  By supporting the Cougar Club, alumni, fans, and friends of Averett University can help carry on this proud tradition.

The Cougar Club, created in 1989, is a non-profit organization whose primary objective is to raise money to provide a positive experience for Averett student-athletes and fans.  The activities of the Cougar Club are varied, but are all designed with the student-athlete in mind.  Each year, hundreds of Cougar supporters pledge their support of Averett University student-athletes by joining the Cougar Club. Thanks to our loyal supporters, AU student-athletes have the opportunity to succeed in both the classroom and on the field.

$50 Individual; $100 Family (lapel pin, membership card)

Blue and Gold Cougar
$100 Individual; $150 Family (lapel pin, membership card, preferred seating with purchase of season tickets)

Golden Cougar
$150 Individual; $200 Family (lapel pin, membership card, preferred seating with purchase of season tickets for football and basketball, parking)

Cougar Guardian
Persons whose donations exceed the $150 Individual or the $200 Family giving levels of the Golden Cougar. (lapel pin, membership card, preferred seating with purchase of season tickets for football and basketball, parking, special event invitations)

Cougar Friends
Persons with gifts of $5 to $49 to support the athletics program (membership card)
