Jordan Quinn joined the baseball program as an assistant coach/recruiting coordinator in August 2016.
Quinn comes to Averett from Washington College in Chestertown, Maryland, where he served as the pitching coach for the 2015 season. While there, his team had the second lowest earned run average and was second in walks allowed in the Centennial Conference. Additionally, he instructed a Centennial Conference Honorable Mention selection and was part of a program that recorded its second most wins in a season with 26.
Prior to joining Washington, he was a pitching coach for the Sterling Xpress of the Rocky Mountain Collegiate Baseball League, where he coached a 48-game regular season.
As a player, Quinn spent three years on the varsity baseball team at Division I North Carolina Central University, where he earned all-region honors in 2012.
A native of Goldsboro, North Carolina, Quinn obtained his bachelors in business administration with a concentration in marketing from N.C. Central in 2015. He is currently pursuing his master's of business administration from Averett.
