Clifton Glover Jr. joined the Averett University football program as the director of football operations in August 2018. Glover will assist with operations, academics and recruiting with the program as the recruiting coordinator.
Glover, a 2017 graduate of Averett, returned to his alma mater, where he played four seasons at wide receiver for the Cougars. He totaled 11 receptions for 155 yards and one touchdown.
A native of Fredericksburg, Virginia, Glover earned his bachelor's degree in sports management. While at Averett, he served as an operations intern with the Department of Athletics. Following graduation in 2017, Glover worked in the insurance industry and also coached youth flag football at i9Sports in Richmond. He completed his master's degree from Averett and also works as an admissions counselor at the university.
