Kevin Daughtrey has served as Averett's linebackers coach and strength and conditioning coordinator since 2013.
Daughtrey came to Averett after gaining experience as as assistant coach and strength coach at several high schools in Alabama. He also served as a graduate assistant in the University of Alabama Department of Kinesiology, where he worked as a strength and conditioning coach with the Alabama football program from 2007-2010.
Prior to coaching, Daughtrey also served as the marketing director at Sportsplex Total Fitness in Birmingham, Ala.
A native of Chattanooga, Tenn., Daughtrey earned his bachelor's degree in education from Alabama in 2010.
