Ryan Curle was named an assistant coach with the Averett University football program in May 2023 after serving as a student assistant during spring practice. Curle coaches wide receivers for the Cougars.
Curle was a five-year member of Averett's football program, where he played quarterback. In 17 career games including six starts, he threw 70 completions for 807 yards and two touchdowns while also rushing for one touchdown. His most notable performance came in 2022 when he threw for a career-high 266 yards on 13 completions with a long of 75 yards at Hampden-Sydney College. Curle also served as the team's holder on kicks.
A native of New Kent, Virginia, Curle graduated in May 2023 from Averett with a degree in sports medicine and physical education.
