Paul Wiles joined the Averett Sports Medicine staff in the fall of 2019 and served as an athletic training assistant.
A native of Gainesville, Virginia, Wiles returns to his alma mater to continue working with the sports medicine team after serving as a student athletic trainer during his four years at Averett.
Wiles was a four-year member of the Averett football program, including being named a captain his senior season, and was named to the 2018 USA South All-Sportsmanship Team. He also earned USA South Academic All-Conference honors.
Wiles graduated in May 2019 with a bachelor's degree athletic training from Averett. He completed his master's of business administration from Averett in May 2021.
