Kyle Bush joined the Averett University men's basketball program as an assistant coach in August 2018.
Bush came to Averett from the University of Charleston in West Virginia, where he served as an assistant coach during the 2017-18 season. In addition, Bush gained experience helping coordinate and coach basketball in Scotland. He's also served as a camp counselor at Duke University's basketball camp and was a personal basketball trainer.
Bush played collegiately at NAIA Union College, where he was a two-time conference champion on the Bulldogs' top-10 ranked team. He went on to play and coach in the Scottish National League.
A native of Ashland, Kentucky, Bush graduated from Union in December 2015 with a bachelor's degree in business administration and management.
