Cayden Holdsworth joined the Averett University men's lacrosse program as a student assistant coach prior to the 2026 season.
A native of Hamilton, Ontario, Canada, Holdsworth played for the Averett women's lacrosse program for two seasons from 2024-25. She finished with 42 goals and 16 assists with 25 ground balls and 34 draw controls in 25 games played. In addition to receiving Old Dominion Athletic Conference All-Academic Team recognition, Holdsworth was named to the 2023-24 ODAC Sportsmanship Team and earend Academic All-District Women's At-Large Team honors from the College Sports Communicators in 2025.
Holdsworth is majoring in biomedical sciences at Averett.
