Ginger Henderson

Ginger Henderson has been coaching the Averett University IDA Team since 2004. In that time the IDA team has been named regional champions 11 times, named national reserve champions two times and won the national championships in 2017. Many riders have won individual regional and national championships during this period.
 
Henderson is involved in the IDA on a national level, having served as a regional representative, development director, and most recently as the national president. Henderson graduated with distinction from the USDF “L” judging program and enjoys riding her home bred horses in regional USEF dressage competition.

Henderson is a graduate of Ohio State University, Averett University and Lynchburg College with degrees in Equine Management and Production, Human Resource Development and a Masters degree in Agency Counseling. Henderson is also licensed in Virginia as a mental health counselor.
