Carrie Hendrick

Dr. Carrie Hendrick is one of the faculty athletic mentors (FAM) for Averett University’s softball team. Hendrick has been Averett’s director of athletic training education since 2014. Previously, she had served as the university’s head athletic trainer since July 2013.

A native of Roanoke, Va., Hendrick received her bachelor’s degree from Bluefield College in 2004. She earned her master’s degree in education, health and physical education from Virginia Tech in 2006 and completed her doctorate degree of philosophy, curriculum and instruction from Virginia Tech in 2010.
