Summer Robinson joined the Averett University softball program as an assistant coach in July 2018.
Robinson previously served as a volunteer assistant coach at Division I Radford University, her alma mater, during the 2017 and 2018 seasons. She also worked as a fitness, strength and conditioning intern at Radford during the fall of 2017.
Robinson played four years at Radford as an outfielder. She played in 212 games, making 207 career starts while hitting .241 with 140 hits, 79 runs batted in, 24 doubles and 16 home runs.

A native of Chesapeake, Virginia, Robinson graduated with a bachelor of science degree in health and human performance in December 2017. She is currently pursuing her master's of business administration from Averett.
