Caitlin Reed returned to the Averett University women’s basketball program as an assistant coach in June 2022.
Reed began her collegiate playing career at Averett in 2018-19, appearing in 16 games while earning USA South Academic All-Conference honors as a freshman. She played the final two and a half seasons of her career at Salisbury University.
In addition to her playing experience, Reed was selected to participate in the prestigious Women’s Basketball Coaches Association’s “So You Want To Be A Coach” program in spring 2022. While at Averett, Reed also attended the 2019 NCAA Student-Athlete Leadership Forum.
A native of Crossville, Tennessee, Reed earned her bachelor’s degree in physical education from Salisbury in May 2022. She is pursuing her master’s in education from Averett.
