Christine Mabry joined the Averett University women's basketball program as an assistant coach in August 2019.
Mabry came to Averett following a four-year playing career, spending her first two years at Montgomery College and her final two years at NAIA Washington Adventist University. In two seasons at Washington Adventist, she helped the team attain the best two seasons in program history in both 2017-18 and 2018-19.
Mabry served as a camp coach at the Summer Jam Basketball Camp in Maryland for four years, while also working at John Wall's basketball camp in Maryland in September 2015 and the Nike Basketball Camp in Maryland in July 2017.
A native of Gaithersburg, Maryland, Mabry graduated from Washington Adventist in May 2019 with a bachelor's degree in fitness and sport science. She is pursuing her master of business administration from Averett.
