Meaghan Byrne is one of the faculty athletic mentors (FAM) for the Averett University women's basketball team. She joined the Averett faculty in 2012 as member of the equestrian staff and joined the faculty of the business department this year. Byrne has served as the women's basketball faculty athletic mentor for the past two seasons and enjoys getting to know each player on an individual level.
Originally from Boston, Massachusetts, Byrne received her bachelor's degree in business administration with a concentration in finance from Averett in 2008. She recently recieved her Master's of Business Administration in 2014.Â
