Averett University Athletics

Dr. Marc Muneal began working at Averett University in 2015 and is currently Associate Professor of English. He earned his bachelor's degree from Morehouse College in 2004, and went to Emory University to attain both his master's in 2008 and his Ph.D in 2010. Prior to working at Averett, Muneal taught English at Gordon State College from 2010-15.

Muneal is entering his second year as a Faculty Athletic Mentor for the women's lacrosse team.

Muneal grew up in Chaguanas, Trinidad and Tobago before moving to the United States and living here for the past 18 years.
