Natasha Blakley joined the Averett University Sports Medicine staff as an assistant athletic trainer in September 2022.
Blakley came to Averett from Tennessee, where she was a certified athletic trainer for Cookeville High School and also taught as an adjunct professor at Tennessee Tech University in Spring 2022.
Blakley earned her Bachelor of Science from East Tennessee State University in December 2018 and completed her Master of Science from the University of Lynchburg in May 2021. While at Lynchburg, her clinical and intern experience including time with Liberty High School and Heritage High School, Lynchburg's women's basketball, tennis, equestrian and track and field programs, as well as Liberty University's baseball program. She also worked with East Tennessee State's football program in fall 2018.
Blakley is a member of NATA and Iota Tau Alpha Athletic Training honor society.
