Madison Dadez '20/'22 returned to the Averett University women's volleyball program as a volunteer assistant coach in August 2023. Previously, Dadez served as a graduate assistant coach with the Averett women's volleyball program from 2020-22 after playing four seasons for the Cougars.
Dadez, a middle hitter from Yorktown, Virginia, was a two-time all-conference performer at Averett. She earned USA South East Division First Team accolades in 2019 after earning USA South East Division Second Team honors in 2018. Following her senior season, she received the 2019-20 Barbara Kushubar Female Student-Athlete of the Year Award, was named the Senior Female Athlete of the Year and received the volleyball program's service award. She finished her career with 671 kills (1.57 per set) with a .244 hitting percentage, 261 total blocks and 198 digs over 427 sets in 124 matches played. Meanwhile, Averett won the USA South East Division in three of her four seasons.
Off the court, Dadez earned USA South Academic All-Conference honors multiple times. She also participated in the 2020 NCAA Division III Student Immersion Program, attended the 2019 NCAA Career in Sports Forum and was active within Averett's Student-Athlete Advisory Committee (SAAC).
Dadez earned her bachelor's degree in sports management from Averett in May 2020. She earned her master's of business administration from Averett in 2022.
